Dantherm develops mobile climate and cooling solutions for tents and containers, engineered to perform in the most demanding environments, including refugee camps, emergency relief missions, and military bases worldwide.
The equipment is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and continuous vibrations during transport by truck, aircraft, or helicopter, ensuring reliable operation under critical conditions.
Air conditioners from Dantherm undergo accredited shock and vibration testing at FORCE Technology in accordance with MIL-STD-810. Units are mounted on test benches and subjected to movements in multiple directions, simulating thousands of kilometres of rough terrain, sudden braking, and transport jolts. Since 2009, these rigorous tests have guided the design of mobile air conditioners, with reinforced casings, secured internal components, and vibration-resistant mounting of heavy parts.
The same robustness required by military and humanitarian operations is increasingly valued in civilian sectors, including offshore and maritime, energy and mining, temporary infrastructure, and construction. Equipment that is easy to transport, install without specialists, and operate reliably reduces downtime, logistical complexity, and operational risk.
Beyond standard military testing, Dantherm solutions undergo corrosion, ice, and temperature testing, including exposure to extreme salt fog, ice buildup, and conditions ranging from –32 °C to +60 °C. These measures ensure dependable performance in harsh climates and challenging field conditions.
Robustness remains a core design principle. Mobile climate solutions that arrive fully operational save time, resources, and lives, delivering dependable performance whether at a desert military base or an offshore North Sea installation.
