The BVT516 VTOne from Beyond Vision is a hybrid Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) UAV designed for long-range missions including Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), surveillance, and mapping, combining vertical take-off capability with fixed-wing flight.
The platform integrates VTOL with fixed-wing cruise flight, enabling operation in areas without runways while providing efficient forward flight for extended missions, with transition between vertical and fixed-wing modes during operation.
The VTOne offers a maximum flight time of up to 180 minutes and a top speed of approximately 120 km/h, supported by a 12S Li-Ion battery system designed for extended-duration missions. The UAV is designed with safety features that allow it to continue flight and perform a controlled landing in the event of a motor failure, supporting operational reliability.
With a payload capacity of up to 2 kg, the VTOne supports a range of interchangeable payloads, including stabilised EO/IR and 8K cameras, thermal imaging systems, LiDAR sensors, and multispectral sensors, and can be equipped with external 256 or 512 GB SSD storage. The platform also supports multiple communication links, including 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi, LoRa, and ZigBee, enabling remote operation and real-time data transmission.
The platform is suited to applications including ISR, border surveillance, maritime monitoring, and mapping. The BVT516 VTOne combines hybrid VTOL operation, extended flight endurance, modular payload integration, and multi-link communications to support a range of long-range aerial missions.
