The uAvionix ZPR is a passive surveillance receiver combining Mode 5 Level 2/2-Broadcast (M5L2/M5L2-B) and dual-frequency ADS-B technologies for comprehensive airspace awareness.
Supporting 1090 MHz Mode S Extended Squitter, 978 MHz UAT ADS-B, and Mode 5 Level 2 signals, it enables simultaneous reception and decoding of civil and military surveillance data. Designed for use in airborne, maritime, and ground-based systems, ZPR provides high-fidelity situational awareness for mission-critical defense operations.
When integrated with a KIV-77 or KIV-79 crypto module, ZPR delivers passive IFF (PIFF) functionality compliant with AIMS 04-900(A) Option B. Its compact, low-SWaP architecture supports secure identification without active emissions, ideal for both cooperative and contested scenarios.
With support for SAASM, M-Code, and commercial GPS inputs, plus serial and Ethernet interfaces, ZPR ensures precise timing and flexible system integration. Engineered for deployment in extreme environments, it features high receiver sensitivity, multiple mounting configurations, and user tools for system setup and monitoring.
