RT-2087/ZPX

The RT-2087/ZPX Micro is a low-SWaP transponder delivering IFF Mode 5 Level 1/2 capability and ADS-B In/Out in a compact form factor for tactical UAV platforms. Integrating Modes 1, 2, 3/A, C, S, and Mode 5, along with position and timing inputs, the system supports secure identification and airspace compliance with minimal impact on payload constraints.

Fully certified to AIMS Mk XIIB and DoD AIMS 17-1000B standards, it enables uncrewed and crewed platforms to operate confidently across both defense and civil airspace environments.

Designed for autonomous and beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) missions, the RT-2087/ZPX Micro interfaces with autopilot systems and precision navigation solutions to maintain control and positional integrity throughout flight. Supporting crypto emulator tools like the KIV-77 and KIV-79, it accommodates non-classified development and training use cases.

Capable of 250 W transmit power and altitude operation up to 60,000 feet, the unit is tested from –45° to +71° C and supports protocols including GDL90+ and uAvionix OEM for advanced communication and control.
