The THPR1079 Range Enhanced THRP1079 Radio System combines a Silvus StreamCaster SC4210P-235-O radio core with Triad high-power RF subsystems in a compact, low-SWaP package. This two-channel, S-Band amplified system incorporates the Silvus radio, RF amplification, control circuitry, filtering, and required interfaces within a single assembly. Covering 2200 to 2500 MHz, the THPR1079 delivers 40 W of total THPR output power, supporting greater RF output, increased throughput, and longer link distances than the standalone radio.
Designed for +16 to +32 VDC input, the THPR1079 includes bidirectional amplifiers (BDAs), RF filtering, and SoC-based monitoring and control functions. Real-time power measurement and link diagnostics provide operational visibility into RF performance, while the integrated 5.5 x 5.42 x 2.8-inch form factor consolidates radio, amplification, and control hardware. The resulting architecture is suited to defense communications requiring extended S-Band link performance while maintaining low size, weight, and power requirements.
