The THPR1078 Range Enhanced Silvus StreamCaster Radio System pairs a Silvus StreamCaster SC4210-139-O radio core with Triad high-power RF subsystems in a compact, low-SWaP package. Configured as a two-channel, L-Band amplified system, it brings together the Silvus radio, RF amplification, control circuitry, filtering, and interfaces within one integrated unit. Operating across 1350 to 1440 MHz, the THPR1078 provides 40 W of total THPR power, enabling increased RF output, greater throughput, and longer link distances compared with the standalone radio.
Supporting +16 to +32 VDC input, the THPR1078 incorporates bidirectional amplifiers (BDAs), RF filtering, and SoC-based monitoring and control. Real-time power measurement and link diagnostics provide visibility into RF and link behavior, while the 5.5 x 5.42 x 2.8-inch enclosure consolidates the principal radio and amplification functions. This architecture supports defense communications where extended L-Band connectivity is required alongside constrained size, weight, and power.
