The THPR1076 Range Enhanced DTC Radio System combines a DTC SOL8SDR-C-132043 radio core with Triad high-power RF subsystems inside a compact, low-SWaP enclosure. Configured as a two-channel, L-Band amplified radio, the unit integrates RF amplification, filtering, control circuitry, and external interfaces around the DTC core. Its 1140 to 1450 MHz operating range and 40 W total THPR output support greater RF power, increased throughput, and longer link distances than the standalone radio.
The THPR1076 operates from a +16 to +32 VDC input and incorporates bidirectional amplifiers (BDAs), RF filtering, and SoC-based monitoring and control functions. Real-time power measurement and link diagnostics provide visibility into RF behavior during operation, while the 5.5 x 5.42 x 2.8-inch package consolidates radio and amplification hardware into one system. This architecture supports defense communications requiring extended L-Band connectivity while keeping size, weight, and power demands constrained.
