Extended-range S-Band radio with 120 W RF output

The THPR1060 Range Enhanced Silvus StreamCaster Radio System integrates a Silvus StreamCaster SC4410-235-O radio core with Triad high-power RF subsystems in a low-SWaP enclosure. Configured as a four-channel S-Band amplified radio, it combines RF amplification, filtering, control circuitry, and interfaces with the Silvus platform in a single assembly. Operating across 2200 to 2500 MHz, the THPR1060 supplies 120 W of total THPR power to provide higher RF output, increased throughput, and longer link distances than the standalone radio.

Accepting +22 to +32 VDC input power, the THPR1060 incorporates bidirectional amplifiers (BDAs), RF filtering, and SoC-based monitoring and control. Real-time power measurement and link diagnostics give operators visibility into RF performance, while the 9.21 x 5.77 x 5.35-inch package consolidates the radio and associated high-power RF hardware. The integrated design is intended for defense communications requiring extended S-Band connectivity while keeping the supporting RF architecture contained within one system.
