TA1216

The TA1216 is a 32 W SISO power amplifier covering 300 to 6000 MHz in a compact, low-SWaP module. Built around a Class AB GaN architecture, it supports varied signal types and modulation formats while providing the combination of output power, linearity, and efficiency required by demanding RF systems. The amplifier delivers 55 dB transmit gain, a typical P1dB of 42 dBm, and typical saturated output power of 45 dBm, with a +12 to +30 VDC input range that supports integration across a broad range of military and commercial platforms.

Its wide operating bandwidth enables a single amplifier to serve RF architectures spanning multiple bands, helping reduce the need for separate narrowband amplification stages. Measuring 3.755 x 2.3 x 0.95 inches, the TA1216 provides high power density in a small footprint while maintaining compatibility with complex modulated waveforms. This makes it suitable for defense RF systems where broadband coverage, compact packaging, and dependable high-power transmission are key design requirements.
