Zenith® (CAS150/170) from Silicon Sensing is a closed-loop, single-axis MEMS accelerometer developed for precision-critical aerospace use. The device combines ultra-precise linear acceleration measurement with very low noise spectral density, supporting clear signal acquisition across long-endurance missions, rapidly changing operating conditions, and harsh aviation environments.
Its ±14g dynamic range enables accurate measurement under demanding motion profiles, while the compact, surface-mountable package supports integration where size, weight, power, and cost are important design considerations.
Zenith® is offered in two sensing orientations: the CAS150 provides in-plane measurement, while the CAS170 uses an orthogonal configuration. Engineers can combine these variants to create multi-axis measurement capability on a single printed circuit board assembly, conserving board space while retaining measurement reliability. The architecture is suited to both manned and unmanned aircraft platforms requiring sustained linear-acceleration data from a robust, compact sensor.
