Quanta Extra is a compact high-accuracy INS/GNSS solution designed for demanding applications where precise positioning and motion data are required. The system combines SBG Systems’ fusion algorithms with high-performance gyroscopes, accelerometers and an integrated RTK GNSS receiver to provide centimetric positioning in a compact form factor.
The sensor features an OEM form factor with a separate IMU, supporting easier integration into space-constrained systems. It also provides built-in motion profiles, low power consumption, data logging for post-processing, a web interface, and Ethernet and PTP or PPS connectivity for integration with external sensors such as LiDAR.
Quanta Extra is highly suited to defense unmanned aircraft, loitering munitions and mission payloads that require reliable position, heading and attitude data in challenging GNSS environments, as well as applications where precision navigation and real-time motion data are critical to mission performance.
