KTAC
Modular portable controller solution for UAVs & unmanned systems C2
The Kutta Tactical Controller (KTAC) is a modular portable C2 (command and control) solution for tactical UAVs and unmanned systems, allowing you to dock a smartphone, tablet or computer to create a rugged and flexible controller that can withstand challenging battlefield conditions. Weighing less than two pounds, it can be easily carried in the field without sacrificing mobility.
The versatile device provides seamless interoperability with Nett Warrior, and requires no proprietary software. It can be easily integrated with multiple mesh networks and COTS IP-based radios, allowing operators to adapt rapidly to changing mission requirements.
KTAC has been added to the Blue UAS list and is on the Army marketplace.
Ruggedized, wearable edge computing and networking hub
The Kutta Edge Device (KED) is a rugged, wearable edge-computing and networking hub that brings advanced processing directly to the tactical edge. Its low-power Linux-based architecture operates at only 3–7 watts, minimizing heat generation and extending mission endurance while delivering powerful edge-compute capabilities.
KED supports AI-enabled automated target recognition, video compression, TAK services, automated CoT messaging, and multi-platform data sharing. By processing critical information closer to the operator, it reduces bandwidth requirements and improves situational awareness in connected, disconnected, and bandwidth-constrained environments. Its open, modular design enables integration with multiple sensors, networks, and unmanned platforms while supporting future capability growth.
Compact & rugged general-purpose computing platform for UAVs & UGVs
The Small Mission Computer is a rugged low-power general-purpose computing platform that is ideal for a wide range of mission-critical UAV and UGV processing tasks, including autonomous operations, drone swarming, and artificial intelligence/machine applications.
The STANAG 4586-compliant device provides a variety of interfaces, including Ethernet, USB, RS-485, CAN, SPI and I2C, and is compatible with a wide range of UAS autopilots and payloads. It has been designed to meet IP67 and MIL-STD-810 standards.
Mobile vehicle-based dual-operator C2 station for UAVs
Kutta Technologies’ Transportable Ground Station provides a complete tactical UAV command and control solution, housing two operator workstations inside a Light Multipurpose Shelter (LMS) mounted on a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). Designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and extremes of temperature, it includes 32″ 4K displays, anatomically-contoured operator chairs and adjustable lighting for maximum comfort and effectiveness.
The rugged station is powered by a 20kW silent diesel tow-generator and also features a UPS, fire safety equipment, antenna mounts and tactical UHV/VHF radios.
Kutta’s Unified Ground Control Station (UGCS) software provides a versatile UAS command and control interface that seamlessly scales across different hardware platforms, operating systems and display resolutions. It has been deployed to support a broad range of UAS platforms from small multirotors to unmanned Black Hawk helicopters, and offers 2D and 3D displays, comprehensive mission planning, and a wide range of payload control options.
The STANAG 4586-compliant software is available in two variants – UGCS-C for foreign governments and commercial customers, and the ITAR-restricted UGCS-D for U.S. Department of Defense clients.
ISR Mission Planner
Mission planning software for aerial ISR operations
Our Mission Planner software has been designed to automate much of the manual planning associated with airborne ISR operations, utilizing open interfaces for seamless integration into existing defense platforms. Operators can quickly define high-level tasks such as routes and areas to survey, as well as targets and surveillance, loiter and rally points, and the software will automatically calculate the optimal stand-off loiter and sensor stare points.
Task Defining
Line Of Sight
Mission Planner can also automatically route around no-fly zones, compute mission times, and output easily readable flight-test cards for operators as well as digital visual reference files for onboard systems.
Unified Video Terminal
Hardware-agnostic Remote Video Terminal software solution
Our Unified Video Terminal (UVT) is an advanced Remote Video Terminal software solution that is compatible with a range of different operating systems and hardware platforms. Designed to STANAG 4586 standards, it can change the Level of Interoperability (LOI) available to match aircraft functionality and mission requirements.
The software provides UAS operators with a variety of essential video payload control features, including:
Stare-at
Stare-from
Follow-and-track
Route and area survey
Auto-routing
Advanced Autonomy Suite
Software modules for advanced UAV & UxV autonomy
We have developed a number of specialized software components that can be combined together to create a powerful autonomy engine for UAVs and unmanned systems.
Modules include:
Auto-routing
Radio frequency LOS analysis
