Designed according to MOSA (modular open system approach) principles, it has been deployed to support a broad range of UAS platforms from small multirotors to unmanned Black Hawk helicopters and air launched effects (ALE) platforms.
The software offers 2D and 3D displays, comprehensive mission planning, and a wide range of payload control options, including:
- EO/IR pan, tilt, zoom
- Laser pointing & designation
- Center Field of View (FOV) coordinates
- Snap geo-rectified photo with metadata
- MGRS & latitude & longitude coordinates
- Point & click coordinates in video window to slew
The STANAG 4586-compliant and MAVlink-compatible software is available in two variants – UGCS-C for foreign governments and commercial customers, and the ITAR-restricted UGCS-D for U.S. Department of Defense clients.
