The Rugged Image Processing Unit is a high-performance video system that receives and processes SDI, Ethernet and analog feeds from multiple camera sources. Built around a flexible NVIDIA GPU architecture, it can merge, rotate and crop imagery simultaneously before distributing the processed output to other equipment over SDI, Ethernet or analog video connections.
The unit can receive commands over RS-422, CAN bus or Ethernet and forward them to other onboard equipment. Its extensive video and data connectivity can be supplemented by discrete I/O and three 12 V DC outputs for external devices, providing a configurable processing hub for demanding defense applications. The rugged system is qualified to MIL-STD-810G and MIL-STD-810F environmental procedures, with electromagnetic compatibility testing to MIL-STD-461F.
