The RCS7550 rugged switch series is purpose-built to provide wired connectivity at the tactical edge with plug-and-play functionality. Building on the proven reliability of the RUCKUS ICX 7550 series and Crystal Group's ruggedized hardware approach, the systems deliver the performance, flexibility and scalability required for demanding edge environments.
The RCS7550 supports future-ready 40 or 100 GbE uplink ports, helping to eliminate bottlenecks between network layers and maintain uninterrupted user experiences in high-density wireless environments. The switches are available with 24 or 48 ports and support RJ-45 copper or SFP port configurations.
Key features include a modular expansion slot for uplink or stacking, advanced Layer 3 routing capability, AC or DC redundant power supplies, and commercial or MIL-CIRC I/O options. The rugged switch line is tested to MIL-STD-810 environmental standards for operational temperature, vibration, shock, humidity and altitude.
