Brandywine Communications’ 3U VPX Assured Position, Navigation & Timing (aPNT) Radial Clock module is designed for SOSA and MOSA-aligned systems, supporting the SOSA Timing Slot Profiles SLT3x-TIM-2S1U22S1U2U1H-14.9.2-X and Timing Module Profiles MOD3x-TIM-2S1U22S1U2U1H-16.9.2-X. The module provides a plug-and-play timing solution for open architecture platforms requiring precise synchronization, stable holdover performance, and support for IRIG, NTP, and PTP timing protocols.
The card features 11 fully programmable paired AUX and REF radial clocks, allowing AUX_CLK outputs to be configured for pulse rates such as 1PPx, while REF_CLK outputs can be programmed from 10 MHz to 3 GHz. Additional VITA 67.3C aperture options support low phase noise 10 MHz sinewave outputs as well as analog pulse and time code I/O capabilities, enabling flexible integration across a wide range of mission-critical modular systems.
