The ASELSAN KORKUT 100/25 SB is an anti-drone countermeasure system intended to neutralize mini- and micro-class UAV threats during military operations. It pairs a 25 mm automatic cannon with ATOM air-burst ammunition, using target information supplied by external radar and electro-optical sensors. The system provides functional and physical defeat effects, while gyroscopic stabilization and remote control support engagements against low-altitude, highly maneuverable targets.
Its sensor and fire-control package includes high-resolution daylight and thermal cameras, a laser rangefinder, automated target detection and tracking, and ballistic computation algorithms. External radar cueing directs the weapon toward airborne threats, while the stabilized electro-optical gimbal supports all-weather, day-and-night operation. A modular architecture enables installation on tactical wheeled armored platforms, helping protect mobile military units against mini and micro UAV attacks while in motion.
