Sky Power Two Stroke UAS Engine Now With Increased Power

Sky Power International is a leading manufacturer of two-stroke combustion and Wankel rotary engines for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and hybrid applications.

The company is now offering its SP-210 FI TS ROS engine in run-in condition with 14kW, equating to a power increase of 27% from 11kW.

As Karsten Schudt, CEO of Sky Power GmbH, explains: “From now on we offer the SP-210 FI TS ROS in run-in condition, with 14kW. But customers, who are using this engine already, can have the possibility to upgrade their engines too.”

All SP-210 FI TS ROS, which were produced until the beginning of May 2023, are equipped with 11kW. The company is offering an upgrade of these propulsion units if necessary. After a run-in and with some additional system upgrades, even older SP-210 FI TS ROS engines will perform 14kW. System upgrades to the previous engine include technical adjustments and a different engine mapping, whilst the engine weight remains the same.
