Savox Communications has introduced the Noise-COM 200×2, a next-generation tactical hearing protection and communications headset designed for diverse mission environments.

The system is engineered for use in dismounted, mounted, and training scenarios, focusing on rugged reliability and seamless integration across the Savox tactical ecosystem. Shaped by real-world operator feedback, the headset features a refined modular cable architecture and an advanced audio system designed to maintain speech intelligibility in harsh conditions.

To support extended operations, the headset utilizes an ultra-low power architecture that allows for up to 500 hours of operation in hear-through mode. It is powered by standardized, off-the-shelf AA batteries to simplify logistics and eliminate dependencies on proprietary power sources. The unit’s durability is verified to MIL-STD-810H standards, ensuring functional performance in extreme temperatures ranging from –40°C to +60°C.

The design emphasizes multi-role versatility through a quick-change communication cable, allowing users to switch rapidly between hearing protection only and full communications configurations. For hardware flexibility, a dual-side microphone slot supports either left or right placement based on shooter preference or helmet compatibility. The headset also includes an upgraded headband, backplates, and ear seals to reduce user fatigue during long-duration missions.

Integration is a core component of the platform, as the headset interoperates with the Savox dismounted soldier suite and Pack-COM wireless team communication systems. This ensures uninterrupted voice and data connectivity as personnel transition between on-foot and in-vehicle operations, which helps to reduce cognitive load and maintain situational awareness. Environmental protection has also been addressed with an upgraded microphone connector and protective cap to increase resistance to water ingress and humidity.

Jerry Kettunen, CEO, Savox Communications, commented, “Noise-COM 200×2 represents the next evolution of mission-critical hearing protection and communications headsets. Shaped by real field use and direct operator feedback, the improved Noise-COM 200×2 keeps professionals increasingly protected, aware, and confidently connected, whether on foot, in vehicles, or across multi-platform missions.”

The Noise-COM 200×2 was showcased at EnforceTac 2026 and is scheduled for availability through Savox Communications and its authorized partners starting in the first quarter of 2026.
