Concurrent Technologies has launched the TR MDx/6sd-RCR, a rugged 3U VPX plug-in card designed for compute-intensive aerial and ground applications.

Based around an Intel Xeon D-1800 CPU and including 128 Gbytes of DDR4 memory, it is well-suited for server-grade use cases, and provides support for a FIPS 140-3 1TB M.2 storage module.

The SWaP-optimized card is ideal for space and weight-constrained applications, and also features a 40GBASE-KR4 or 100GBASE-KR4 primary Ethernet data plane for advanced networking capabilities. It has been designed with a wide operating temperature range of -55 to +105°C.

With a significant pipeline of preorders, including the company’s recently-announced largest ever contract win that was achieved through close relationships with strategic partners, Concurrent Technologies anticipates shipping fully-qualified products within the year to meet growing customer demand.

Miles Adcock, CEO of Concurrent Technologies, commented: “We’re excited to introduce our latest product. By optimising for size, weight, power, and cost, we’re addressing a crucial demand in the industry, allowing us to offer a product that is both innovative and highly efficient. The strong pipeline of preorders underscores the industry’s confidence in our capabilities and highlights our commitment to excellence.”
