The Lifeseeker mobile phone location systems from CENTUM have been selected by the Florida State Guard to support its airborne emergency response missions.
The Lifeseeker systems were presented at Verticon 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia. The contract includes five Lifeseeker SAR XL S10 systems, which are being integrated across a variety of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft operated by the Florida State Guard. These platforms include the UH-60 Black Hawk and the Cessna 206. The technology is designed to assist in public safety missions, with a primary focus on search and rescue and disaster response.
The Florida State Guard has also incorporated several Lifeseeker Mini S10 units into the E455 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) platform from American drone manufacturer Event 38. This integration into unmanned systems provides complementary capabilities for specific mission profiles, highlighting the versatility of the product family across different aerial assets.
The selection by Florida follows a broader adoption of these systems by various organizations across several U.S. states, ranging from Florida to Alaska, across a wide range of operational environments. All units deployed in the United States are FCC certified, meeting a regulatory requirement not commonly achieved by other systems of this specific type.
