Crystal Group has announced the integration of next-generation processing components into its portfolio of rugged servers and embedded computers, targeting high-performance applications across defense, government, and industrial sectors.
By collaborating closely with industry partners from early-stage development through final deployment, Crystal Group aligns its hardware platforms with the demanding requirements of mission-critical operations.
Todd Prouty, Senior Business Development Manager at Crystal Group, commented, “Our deep-rooted technical partnerships allow us to harness the latest innovations, ensuring our customers have access to cutting-edge performance and reliability where it matters most. This integration underscores our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional solutions that cover the full range of performance and power efficient servers to harsh environments.”
The updated architecture utilizes Intel Xeon 6 processors to deliver faster memory speeds and enhanced data processing efficiency. Key technical features include increased memory performance through compatibility with higher bandwidth DDR5 or MRDIMMs, scaling up to 144 cores with Intel Xeon 6700 series E-core processors, eight to 86 P-cores on Xeon 6700P-series processors, and integrated accelerators dedicated to encryption, compression, offloading, and load balancing.
Cale Stephens, VP, Advanced Technology at Crystal Group, stated, “The rugged computing industry is constantly evolving, and at Crystal Group, we thrive in this dynamic environment by staying agile, innovative, and relentlessly focused on delivering solutions that exceed our customers’ expectations. Our exceptional team of engineers and our commitment to quality and reliability enable us to not only keep pace with industry advancements but often outpace them—pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in ruggedized technology.”
