XPONENTIAL Europe 2027 will take place from March 16–18, 2027 in Düsseldorf, continuing its role as a major European event focused on robotics, automation, autonomous systems, and uncrewed technologies.
Following strong attendance and industry participation in 2026, the event is set to return on a larger scale with an expanded international presence and an additional exhibition hall.
Further details will be announced soon. In the meantime, please refer to the previous event information below.
XPONENTIAL Europe returns as a key European gathering for uncrewed systems and autonomous technologies, uniting stakeholders across air, ground, maritime, and space. While the event showcases a broad array of innovations, 2026 marks the introduction of a dedicated Defense focus area, putting military applications and security-driven autonomy at the forefront.
This new section will feature capabilities designed for threat detection, ISR, and unmanned operations across domains. From integrated AI and sensor fusion to counter-drone and autonomous mission platforms, XPONENTIAL Europe 2026 offers a full-spectrum view of defense-relevant technologies.

The event presents a multi-day program combining live demonstrations, technology exhibitions, and targeted educational content. Attendees can explore autonomous platforms and robotics systems built for mission-critical operations, engage in domain-specific sessions, and connect with solution providers and military technology developers.
Federal Transport Minister Patrick Schnieder will open the event on March 24, underscoring the strategic role of uncrewed systems in Europe’s innovation and mobility policy.
Building on 157 sessions in 2025, the 2026 conference will offer in-depth discussions on AI in defense, multi-domain autonomy, secure communications, sensor interoperability, and emerging use cases for robotic systems in modern warfare.

Defense-ready autonomous systems will be in action across the air, ground, maritime, and space domains, providing insights into deployment potential and real-world integration challenges.
Opportunities will be available to engage with representatives from defense ministries, military R&D, procurement bodies, and dual-use technology developers. Industry leaders and end-users will gather to explore collaboration and procurement prospects.
XPONENTIAL Europe 2025 welcomed 4,321 visitors from 66 countries, with an average stay of 1.6 days. The breakdown of visitor industries shows strong alignment with defense and security priorities:
Attendees expected in 2026 include system integrators, government and military officials, program managers, and developers of dual-use and defense-grade autonomous systems.
“We have met many existing customers. We have also had good discussions with new business. I expect more exhibitors next time, because word will spread quickly about the new Düsseldorf location. Compared to other trade fairs in this sector, XPONENTIAL Europe is one step ahead.”
