Silent Warrior 2026 (SW26) is a strategic security symposium bringing together African partner nations, U.S. allies, international partners, and the private sector to address security challenges across Africa.
Co-hosted by U.S. Special Operations Command Africa (SOCAFRICA) and the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces (FAR), the symposium has invited representatives from more than 44 African partner countries and 21 international partner countries.
The event will focus on security collaboration, emerging technologies, and strategic, operational, and tactical issues affecting the continent. Senior military leaders will also have opportunities to discuss shared concerns and identify potential collaborative approaches.
When is SW26?
Silent Warrior 2026 will take place from December 7–11, 2026 in Rabat, Morocco.
The main symposium program runs from Monday through Thursday, followed by departures on Friday, December 11.

SW26 will examine evolving security challenges in Africa, with discussions centered on strategic, operational, and tactical issues.
The symposium will also cover innovative technologies, security collaboration between participating nations, and opportunities for cooperation between military organizations and the private sector.
What’s On at Silent Warrior 2026?
The five-day program includes plenary sessions, small group discussions, industry-led discussions, technology demonstrations, formal ceremonies, and a cultural visit in Rabat.
Monday, December 7
The symposium begins with a welcome ceremony, distinguished visitor remarks, a group photo, security briefing, and the first plenary session.
Following lunch, the afternoon program includes a second plenary and two small group discussions. The day concludes with a welcome reception.
Tuesday, December 8
Tuesday begins with a plenary session and the third small group discussion. After lunch, attendees will participate in another plenary and the fourth small group discussion, followed by dinner.
Wednesday, December 9
The morning program includes a plenary session and industry-led discussions. The afternoon is dedicated to industry demonstrations, with dinner scheduled afterward.
Thursday, December 10
The final full day begins with the closing ceremony. Following lunch, participants are scheduled to take part in a cultural visit in Rabat before dinner.
Friday, December 11
Friday is designated for departures from the Silent Warrior Symposium.
