Specialist Defence & Security Convention UK (SDSC-UK) brings together the UK’s leading innovators and takes place in Telford.
SDSC-UK 2024 will create a forum for mutually beneficial commercial discussions between SME’s and Primes, SDSC-UK has become the UK’s most forward-thinking defence & security expo.
When is SDSC 2024?
SDSC is being held from Monday 18th – Wednesday 20th November, 2024.
What to expect at SDSC UK?
SDSC-UK (formerly 3CDSE) focuses on creating a showcase for SMEs directly to MoD Capability and Procurement teams, and welcome larger organisations who act as an interface between SMEs and the purchaser.
The event has delegations from UK Ministry of Defence (UK MoD) and US Department of Defense (DoD) and aims to foster networking and the sharing of new ideas with those involved in the industry, armed forces, government, law enforcement and emergency services, nationally and internationally, to identify future strategies and needs.
This year, the event features a revamped show floor plan, with an extended run time of 3 days.
Mon 18th November:
- MOD Special Projects Industry Day.
- Networking Drinks with MoD – an open floor with MOD team leaders from UKStratCom and DE&S alongside industry leaders and decision-makers.
Tues 19th November:
- Day 1. SDSC-UK Exhibition – a full-day conference with cutting-edge insights and networking opportunities.
- MOD ‘Meet the Buyer’ One-to-One briefings with industry members.
Weds 20th November:
- Day 2. SDSC-UK Exhibition – exclusive one-on-one meetings with key MoD personnel.
- ‘Meet-the-Buyer’ briefings with Primes & US DoD.
- Boutique seminar sessions with leading experts in their fields.
SDSC Theme for 2024
For the 2024 edition, the theme of SDSC is Integration, how air, sea, land and space capabilities are evolving to become fit for purpose today and prepared for the new challenges and capability requirements of tomorrow.
Integration of capabilities includes cyber security, hardware and vehicles, UAV and counter-UAV, manned and unmanned vehicles and other technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and communications.
