The two-day defense conference is dedicated to the development, testing, acquisition, and integration of loitering munitions and launched effects. Recent conflicts, including the war in Ukraine, have highlighted the role of loitering munitions, launched effects, and first-person view (FPV) drones in modern warfare.
The event will be held under Chatham House Rule.
Loitering Munitions USA 2027 will take place from March 31 to April 1, 2027.
Across the two-day conference, attendees will hear about U.S. Department of War loitering munitions programs, including real-world operational lessons that can inform acquisition decisions.
The event will also examine industry capabilities, with opportunities to engage directly with manufacturers and industry leaders. Speakers, industry partners, delegates, and U.S. DoW professionals involved in loitering munitions development and deployment are among those participating in the event.
The conference will provide opportunities to share capability requirements, advance initiatives, strengthen partnerships, and reinforce mission objectives.
Attendance is complimentary for Department of War employees, excluding contractors, providing government attendees with a cost-free forum to engage partners and communicate capability needs.
Delegates who register by January 8, 2027 can save $400 under the early bird offer.
The event will be held in Arlington, Virginia, USA.
For security reasons, the exact venue will not be publicly disclosed. Once a booking has been confirmed and approved, attendees will receive the full event location and address together with the hotel booking form.
