Commonly referred to simply as “Oshkosh”, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 will bring together pilots, aircraft builders, aerospace organizations, aviation professionals, exhibitors, students, and enthusiasts for one of the world’s largest aviation events.
The week-long event includes daily air shows, aircraft displays, aviation workshops, educational forums, flight demonstrations, and career-focused activities across multiple areas of aviation and aerospace. Topics covered throughout the event include military aviation, autonomous aircraft technologies, advanced vertical lift and eVTOL platforms, flight safety, aviation training, aircraft restoration, and aerospace innovation.
Attendees will be able to explore aircraft display areas, attend technical presentations and demonstrations, participate in aviation-focused STEM activities, and connect with exhibitors and organizations involved in aviation, aerospace, safety, training, and emerging aircraft technologies.

When is the Event?
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 will take place from July 20-26, 2026.
Daily air shows are scheduled Monday through Saturday at 2:15 p.m. CT, while Sunday’s air show begins at 1:00 p.m. CT. Night air shows will take place on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. CT.
Themes
AirVenture 2026 will examine a broad range of aviation and aerospace topics including aircraft innovation, military aviation, aviation safety, pilot training, autonomous aircraft technologies, and STEM education.
The event will also highlight developments in advanced vertical lift and eVTOL technologies, drone technologies, aerospace research, and flight training. Discussions and demonstrations throughout Oshkosh will cover both historic aviation platforms and emerging aerospace technologies.
Featured aircraft anniversaries for 2026 include the Travel Air, Fairchild, Goodyear Blimp, Lockheed U-2, Robinson Helicopters, AirCam, RV-8, Beechcraft Bonanza, and Skyraider aircraft.

What’s On?
Oshkosh 2026 will feature daily air shows showcasing aerobatic performances, military aircraft demonstrations, warbirds, vintage aviation displays, and modern aviation technologies. Featured performances will include demonstrations by the Red Arrows during the final weekend of the event.
Attendees will have access to multiple aircraft display areas including Boeing Plaza, Warbirds, Vintage Aircraft, Homebuilt Aircraft, Seaplane Base, Ultralights, Rotorcraft, and Aerobatics zones. Aircraft ride experiences aboard the Ford Tri-Motor, B-25 Berlin Express, and Bell 47 helicopter will also be available.
The event includes hundreds of educational forums and workshops focused on aircraft construction, restoration, maintenance, welding, composites, pilot proficiency, aviation safety, and flight operations. AviationTech sessions will provide hands-on STEM activities for high school students involving coding, CAD design, and aviation technology projects.
Additional attractions include the Aviation Job Fair, RC Flying Field demonstrations, Twilight Flight Fest, Fly-In Theater, WomenVenture programming, KidVenture activities, the International Visitors Tent, and the Runway 5K charity event.
International Federal Pavilion
The International Federal Pavilion will feature participation from aerospace and government organizations including the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), NORAD, NOAA, NTSB, TSA, and other federal agencies presenting aviation technology, flight safety, aerospace operations, and autonomous aircraft technologies.
Workshops and Forums
AirVenture workshops and forums will cover aircraft construction, restoration, welding, composites, maintenance, pilot proficiency, and aviation safety. Sessions will also examine flight training, aviation safety, and emerging aviation technologies.
STEM and Youth Activities
Programs including AviationTech, KidVenture, Learn to Fly Center, and GirlVenture Camp will provide STEM-focused activities, aviation education, coding sessions, simulator experiences, and mentorship opportunities for students and aspiring aviators.

Speakers
EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 will feature presentations and appearances from pilots, engineers, aviation educators, federal agencies, and aviation industry professionals.
Xyla Foxlin, engineer, pilot, and creator, has been announced as the 2026 WomenVenture keynote speaker. Her work spans aviation, engineering, experimental aircraft construction, and pilot mental health advocacy.
Additional presentations and forums throughout the week will include representatives from organizations such as the Air Force Research Laboratory, NORAD, NOAA, NTSB, aviation museums, and aviation safety organizations.
