Compact UAS & Heavy-Lift Rotorcraft for Military ISR & Logistics Operations
XPONENTIAL 2027 will bring together professionals from across the autonomous systems and robotics industries to explore developments in defense, maritime operations, critical infrastructure, public safety, and mobility.
The event will focus on the practical deployment of uncrewed technologies, examining operational challenges, return on investment, and lessons learned from real-world applications. Attendees will include military personnel, acquisition officials, policymakers, engineers, researchers, manufacturers, and technology end users.
Taking place in Miami, Florida, XPONENTIAL 2027 will also expand its international programming, with particular attention to autonomous systems developments and operational requirements across the Americas.
The 2027 exhibition will take place from May 17–20, 2027, with educational programming running throughout the four days.
The exhibition will be open from May 18–20, 2027, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The XPO Hall opening hours are scheduled as follows:
All times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and are subject to change.
XPONENTIAL 2027 will examine the transition of autonomous and robotic systems from technological development to operational deployment, with discussions focused on practical applications, system adoption, and measurable outcomes.
Defense-related topics will include autonomous military capabilities, counter-uncrewed aircraft systems (C-UAS), cybersecurity incidents, and the integration of uncrewed platforms across air, land, maritime, space, and cyber domains.
Other areas of focus will include maritime and port operations, disaster response, critical infrastructure, public safety, advanced air mobility, and the commercial applications of autonomy.
The 2027 program will feature educational sessions, interactive exercises, workshops, an industry exhibition, and networking opportunities. New programming will place greater emphasis on operational experience, technology deployment, and the requirements of organizations adopting autonomous systems.
Bilingual and Hemispheric Programming
2027 will introduce a selection of Spanish-language and bilingual sessions to support participation from operators, regulators, and technology developers across Latin America and the wider Americas.
The expanded programming reflects Miami’s position as a connection point between North American and Latin American markets for uncrewed systems and robotics.
Tabletop and Simulated Exercises
New interactive tabletop exercises will allow participants to work through simulated operational incidents and practice decision-making under pressure.
Scenarios may include cyberattacks, counter-UAS incidents, and coordinated response situations, providing opportunities to examine operational procedures and responses to emerging threats.
Expanded End-User Workshops
XPONENTIAL 2027 will expand its end-user workshops, bringing together operators, regulators, and technology developers to discuss practical challenges associated with adopting autonomous technologies.
Existing workshop topics span agriculture, security, public safety, critical infrastructure, construction, mapping, and surveying.
Additional workshops are planned to address maritime and port operations, disaster preparedness, storm response, and damage assessment. Sessions will combine expert perspectives, case studies, and interactive discussions focused on operational deployment.
Keynight: Evening Keynote and Networking Reception
The event will begin on Monday, May 17, with an evening keynote followed by a networking reception open to all attendees.
The opening session will feature industry perspectives before attendees have an opportunity to meet technology developers, operators, exhibitors, and other industry professionals ahead of the exhibition opening.
XPONENTIAL 2027 is exploring potential site visits for VIP passholders, providing opportunities to learn about autonomous systems operations and infrastructure in the Miami area.
Possible areas of interest include port and maritime autonomy operations and advanced air mobility infrastructure. Specific visits have not yet been confirmed.
The event attracts thousands of professionals from more than 20 industries, including researchers, engineers, executives, program managers, military personnel, acquisition officials, policymakers, technology buyers, and operational end users.
For defense professionals, XPO provides opportunities to examine autonomous capabilities, discuss operational requirements, and engage with manufacturers and developers working on uncrewed technologies.
The move to Miami places XPONENTIAL closer to defense, maritime, aerospace, and robotics organizations operating across the Caribbean and Latin America.
The region is also home to U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM), which established the SOUTHCOM Autonomous Warfare Command (SAWC) in 2026 to support the integration of autonomous, semi-autonomous, and uncrewed platforms across multiple operational domains.
Miami’s maritime infrastructure, aerospace activity, and proximity to hemispheric markets provide a relevant setting for discussions around autonomous systems deployment, regional defense requirements, and commercial applications.
