The 2026 theme, Re-Arming Europe for Electromagnetic Spectrum Superiority, reflects growing concern over the contested nature of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The program addresses doctrinal evolution, capability development, and implementation challenges in response to emerging electromagnetic tactics observed in recent conflicts, including the Russo-Ukrainian War.
Discussions examine issues such as the increasing reliance on unmanned platforms, the denial of PNT and GNSS data, and the growing use of networked electronic warfare systems. These developments highlight the challenges facing European forces operating in an increasingly competitive electromagnetic spectrum environment.
