The TrakkaBeam® TLXc is a high-performance airborne searchlight system designed for law enforcement, defense, border security, search and rescue, and special mission operations. Delivering 25% greater beam intensity and light volume than previous TrakkaBeam systems, the TLXc combines custom optical design with advanced stabilization technology to provide consistent illumination across the entire beam pattern. The system incorporates integrated EO and LWIR situational awareness cameras, enabling crews to maintain operational awareness during both daytime and nighttime missions while supporting safe 24/7 deployment in challenging environments.
Built and qualified to DO-160G standards, the TLXc introduces advanced mission integration capabilities including embedded absolute encoders for instant position recognition, faster searchlight response, and enhanced pointing accuracy. Operators can select from up to six filters in less than one second, including covert IR illumination for NVG-equipped assets as well as visible white, red, green, amber, and blue light options. Backwards compatibility with most A800 installations simplifies upgrades by preserving existing aircraft wiring and mounting arrangements, while integrated camera slaving functionality enables interoperability with a wide range of EO/IR imaging systems used across airborne defense and security platforms.
