Torrent Photonics provides high-precision optical flats, windows and filters for complex defense requirements. Custom plano optics are available as one-sided optical flats for reference surfaces, or as double-sided optical flats for use as optical windows and test plates.
Torrent carries materials suited to wavelengths from visible through NIR and IR. The company can produce plano optics in both volume and size, with large-scale polishing capabilities and support for custom materials, coating and beveling options.
Single-sided optical flats can be used to test the flatness of other optical materials, while double-sided plano flats can serve as a substrate for a window or evaluate the flatness of an unknown surface on either side.
