Aspheric Lenses
Torrent Photonics manufactures high-quality aspheric lenses using advanced CNC machining, supported by in-house conventional and molding capabilities. The company can work with a variety of optical and IR materials, including optical glass, silicon, MgF2 and chalcogenide glass.
Aspheric lenses can reduce the size and weight of defense optical systems by replacing multiple spherical lens elements. They are also used to remove spherical aberrations and reduce chromatic aberrations, supporting improved imaging performance in demanding optical designs.
