The TekMast VMS Series of portable and lightweight tubular masts is designed for long-term deployment of antennas and communications equipment. Featuring a patented guying system, these masts can be erected safely in under 20 minutes by two or three operators (for heights of up to 15m or 24m) even under windy conditions. Ropes and antennas are attached at ground level prior to mast extension, allowing antenna and mast sections to be raised together in one seamless operation.
A manual mechanical extension winch is provided as standard, and the system can also be equipped with an optional electrical winch kit. A wide range of interface adapters are available, and custom mounting solutions can be developed to suit specific applications.
The system is certified to MIL-STD-810G environmental standards, providing rugged protection against extremes of temperature, solar radiation, humidity, salt fog, blowing sand and dust, vibration and transit drop.
