Silicon Sensing’s CRG21 is a high-performance, closed-loop, single-axis MEMS gyroscope developed for reliable rate sensing in demanding environments. Building on the CRG20, the CRG21 retains the same 9.5 × 9 × 3.44 mm footprint to provide a form, fit, and function replacement while offering enhanced performance and robustness. The sensor is available with multiple rate ranges and bandwidths, enabling selection according to system requirements.
Engineered for demanding defense, space, and autonomous vehicle applications, the CRG21 provides high resistance to shock and vibration without requiring additional calibration. Available specifications include a 300°/s digital dynamic range, nominal bandwidth options of 40, 75, and 90 Hz, provisional angular random walk of 0.2°/√hr, bias instability of 1°/h, and an operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C. A digital SPI® interface supports system integration. Published CRG21 performance figures are preliminary estimates and remain subject to change following final verification.
