The Pulse-40 OEM is a miniature tactical-grade 9DoF inertial measurement unit (IMU) developed for mission-critical embedded defence systems where size, weight, power and reliability are equally important. Engineered for seamless OEM integration, it combines high-performance inertial sensing with advanced diagnostic capabilities that continuously verify data integrity during operation. Individual multi-axis thermal calibration of every unit ensures consistent performance throughout the specified operating temperature range, while integrated environmental compensation supports dependable measurements in demanding operating conditions. Designed and manufactured in France, the Pulse-40 OEM is ITAR-free, simplifying international procurement and deployment.
Purpose-built for high-dynamic military applications, the Pulse-40 OEM provides measurement ranges of up to ±4000°/s and ±40 g, together with 0.6°/hr gyroscope bias instability, 6 µg accelerometer bias instability, and low sensor noise for accurate motion sensing. The compact 30 × 28 × 13.3 mm form factor, 19 g weight and 0.3 W power consumption minimise SWaP-C requirements, making the unit suitable for space-constrained embedded platforms. Integrated vibration mitigation technology, combined with a built-in vibration monitoring capability that delivers FFT analysis up to 8 kHz and high-level warning functions, provides valuable insight into operating conditions while helping maintain reliable navigation and motion data in harsh vibration environments.
