The SGT-FDMSCK-YKD-AA is a field-oriented-control motor driver developed for precise position control of three-phase BLDC actuation motors in aerospace and defense systems. Its control architecture combines a cascaded position PID loop with current PI regulation, with A/B/Z encoder and Hall sensor interfaces providing motor feedback.
Designed for integration into advanced defense actuation and positioning systems, the controller supports software-defined position limits, user-defined encoder zero and live PID/PI parameter adjustment. These capabilities allow it to be configured for different actuator mechanics and control-system requirements without changing the communications architecture.
RS-422 and CAN connectivity support integration with wider platform and mission-system architectures, while integrated telemetry provides position, measured speed, Iq current, DC bus voltage and board temperature data. CRC-16 protection provides additional integrity for command and telemetry communications.
Safety and control functions include emergency stop, system enable, braking and position-limit management. The motor driver operates from a 20–34 VDC bus input, with software bus-current protection and undervoltage torque derating supporting reliable operation within defined system limits.
