OptoMedia's 1.25 Gbps RJ45-to-fiber converter is specifically designed for electrical power substation (IEC 61000-4-5) and PROFINET / TSN (IEC 61158 and IEC 61784) applications. Designed with excellent immunity to interference and providing transmission ranges of up to 10km, it is an ideal solution for upgrading 1000Mbps Ethernet interfaces to fiber optic and includes Power over USB capabilities.
The module's male RJ45 port features an auto-crossing function, meaning that users can use either 1:1 or crossover cables.
