OptoMedia’s CU4-xx-4x59Y series RJ45-to-fiber converter is specifically designed for electrical power substation (IEC 61000-4-5) applications. Designed with excellent immunity to interference and providing transmission ranges of up to 10km, it is an ideal solution for upgrading 1000Mbps Ethernet interfaces to fiber optic and can be powered by PoE, USB Type-C or industrial power.
The module also features Precision Time Protocol (PTP) transparent clock functionality for time synchronization. The male RJ45 port provides an auto-crossing function, meaning that users can use either 1:1 or crossover cables.
