10G Multi-Mode Mini SFF Optical Transceiver
OptoMedia's 10G multimode optical transceiver features a Mini SFF design with a 1 x 12 pin package and an LC connector. The low-power module is ideal for Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel communications applications where space is at a premium or where high connection density is required.
The transmitter section utilizes a Class 1 VCSEL laser with a wavelength of 850 nm. The unit also includes an EEPROM for host equipment data storage that can be accessed via 2-wire serial.
