The Ophir SWIR & NIR 25-250mm f/5.5 (NFOV) f/4.0 (WFOV) is a continuous zoom lens that is compatible with 5μm SXGA, 10μm SXGA, and 15μm VGA SWIR detectors. With a weight of just 860 grams, it is ideal for unmanned systems and aerial thermal imaging gimbals.
The compact and lightweight lens provides a vehicle detection range of over 26km, and has been chromatically corrected to support a broader short-wave IR wavelength regime from 0.7-1.7μm with minimal distortion. It is equipped with a unique coating that enables it to excel even in harsh, humid, and salty environments.
