The LCR Chassis Manager is a VITA 46.11-compliant system management solution engineered for embedded enclosures operating in mission-critical defense platforms. Optimized for VPX and SOSA-aligned payloads, it delivers continuous health monitoring across thermal, voltage, and airflow parameters with six configurable thresholds per metric. When abnormal conditions are detected, the system autonomously initiates corrective responses, maintaining performance stability in deployed environments.
Capable of interfacing with up to 32 I2C-based temperature sensors, 12 cooling fans, and 16 general-purpose I/O lines, the unit delivers comprehensive situational awareness for embedded hardware. At its core is a Xilinx FPGA enabling robust IPMI-based oversight through both command-line and graphical interfaces. Consuming less than 4W and powered via a 3.3V auxiliary rail, it supports deployment on 3U VPX carriers or direct board integration. Designed for upgradeability in the field, the solution supports on-the-fly firmware updates via open-source software, ensuring maintainability throughout the system lifecycle.
