The RVA3408T/R Rugged Video Appliance is an IP KVM extender designed to deliver multi-channel HD and 4K video capabilities over standard 1GbE networks. The transmitter-receiver system provides 4Kp60 4:4:4 UHD performance or quad-monitor capabilities, and can be configured as a point-to-point or networked extender for video, keyboard, mouse, USB 2.0 and audio signals.
The system enables aggregated, seamless control of multiple systems from a remote 4K or multi-display station using a single keyboard and mouse. It supports quad-monitor configurations with a single system, helping operators to work across expansive multi-monitor environments while maintaining image quality, smooth video playback, and responsive keyboard and mouse control.
By centralizing hardware in a command post, the RVA3408T/R helps increase security, protect systems from environmental hazards, and reduce noise and heat emissions at the operator station. It can also create a scalable KVM matrix over IP, leverage existing networking equipment and standard GbE infrastructure, connect to systems from remote locations on the IP network, and support IPSec VPN client and multi-factor authentication for protection from cyber-attacks.
