KARAT 100 & 200
KARAT is an integrated infrared search and track system for manned and unmanned fighter aircraft, fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing aircraft and UAVs. The system provides air-to-air search, detection and tracking with a faceted-window structure to minimize radar cross-section.
The system uses high-performance LWIR imaging and can be aligned with the platform’s line of sight. It offers a range of features including multiple target tracking, adjustable search volume, wide scan operation and narrow or wide field-of-view modes. Passive range estimation and angular position data can be provided for detected targets.
