ILGAR 4-LT 100 is a high-frequency electronic attack system developed for jamming HF-band communications used by targets on different platforms in the field. The vehicle-mounted system is designed to delay or block target communications, or cause incorrect data transmission, giving friendly forces an advantage in the tactical environment.
With high RF output power and reactive jamming capability, the system can conduct effective electronic attack against frequency-hopping targets as well as communications using ground wave, sky wave and NVIS propagation. It includes ground wave and sky wave/NVIS jamming antennas, with a quick set-up and tear-down mechanism that supports fast repositioning in challenging tactical environments.
The system also includes basic electronic support capabilities, using high-sensitivity receivers to detect and analyze weak signals. Mission planning software allows operators to analyze RF propagation over real terrain, calculate jamming effectiveness, optimize jammer location and power, and support operations with target and jamming technique libraries, offline signal analysis and a user-friendly graphical interface.
