MiniPod Submersible Receivers
applied acoustics’ MiniPod line of submersible GNSS receivers provides precise surface positioning and remote monitoring for naval UUVs and ROVs, as well as UXO crawler robots, towed sensors, seismic sources, and other equipment.
The rugged receivers are designed for ultra-reliable operation in the harsh marine conditions of the transition zone, featuring internal and external shock mounts. They can be equipped with wireless RF communications to transmit data back to the shore or a vessel, and the 107GS also includes a built-in satellite transceiver utilizing the Inmarsat IsatData Pro service.
