The QTB001 is a high-power, three-phase AC-DC converter developed for defense platforms that need two DC buses from one ruggedized unit. It accepts 208 VAC line-to-line input at 50 or 60 Hz and delivers separate 28 and 270 VDC outputs, providing more than 22 kW of combined power for mixed-voltage architectures.
The 28 VDC channel supplies up to 4.2 kW for conventional vehicle electronics, communications equipment and auxiliary loads. The 270 VDC channel provides up to 18 kW for higher-voltage equipment such as radar, directed-energy payloads and counter-UAS systems. Maximum conversion efficiency of 91.4 percent reduces waste heat in installations with demanding power density requirements.
A sealed, water-resistant enclosure and forced-air thermal management suit exposed or tightly integrated platform locations. The design is intended for applicable requirements of MIL-STD-810H, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-704E and MIL-STD-1275E, addressing environmental exposure, electromagnetic compatibility and aircraft or ground-vehicle power transients.
