At Xponential 2026, Kaiki from Xmobots Aerospace and Defence introduces the 100D drone, a UAV developed and produced in Brazil. The video highlights how HP Multi Jet Fusion technology is used to 3D print critical structural and functional components across the platform, supporting performance, durability, and rapid design evolution.
Xmobots applies a hybrid design approach in which carbon fiber serves as the structural backbone while HP MJF 3D printed parts function as joints and connection elements throughout the drone. Multiple internal and external components, including battery hard cases and detailed internal parts, are produced using HP industrial 3D printing systems.
This manufacturing strategy enables strong structural resistance while allowing fast design changes and continuous iteration. By using HP Additive Manufacturing, Xmobots can adapt and evolve drone designs efficiently across development cycles, supporting innovation in aerospace and defense UAV applications.
