In this video, ITT Cannon introduce the C5 Warrior Connector Series, an ultra-compact connector designed to provide reliable, high-speed data and power interfaces for modern manned and unmanned soldier systems.
At four times smaller than traditional D38999 connectors, the series enables reduced-size electronic assemblies while maintaining mechanical robustness. The connector uses a micro-miniature pin-socket system and the MKJ coupling mechanism, combined with impedance-control features that support signal performance across copper-based protocols. Supported interfaces include USB-C Power Delivery, HDMI, DisplayPort and 10 Gbps Ethernet.
The C5 Warrior Series is sealed against moisture and designed to withstand shock and vibration. It supports up to 5 amps and 100 watts of power, with flexible cable options for integration into compact mission-critical platforms such as soldier equipment and unmanned systems.
