Chamois speaks to Allen Vanguard’s President, Bobby Strawbridge, at DESI 2025, about SECURIS, the company’s new Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) trailer, combining best-in-class drone detection and defeat capabilities.
Allen Vanguard collaborated with and leveraged domain expertise from Blighter, Metus, and Open Works to develop this combined Counter-UAS system. Every element in the system is a TRL level 9 component integrated on a mobile and agile platform.
SECURIS can be deployed with some or all component parts, and can be hardware linked into a mobile command unit, such as one in the back of a large pickup truck, or integrated into a fixed fiber operations room. The customizable platform is scalable and modular, deployable across diverse defense and security applications.
Strawbridge also explains that the C-UAS trailer allows all capabilities to be dismounted for a static setup, enabling operation without the trailer when required.
