Robotics developer XTEND has deployed its first XOS-powered AtlasROVER to a customer in the Asia-Pacific region following its acquisition of Atlas, marking the expansion of its Physical AI operating system into ground robotics.
The milestone forms part of a broader strategy announced by JFB Construction Holdings to transition XTEND’s XOS beyond aerial platforms into a common software layer spanning air, ground, and eventually maritime robotic systems. Designed as a hardware-agnostic operating system for human-guided autonomy, XOS delivers unified artificial intelligence capabilities, mission applications, and operator workflows across diverse hardware configurations.
Integrating the AtlasROVER platform extends this software architecture directly into complex physical ground environments. The ground platform is designed to operate in complex environments and support multiple mission payloads, expanding the range of robotic hardware operating within XTEND’s software ecosystem.
